Job description
The Android Developer is a key member of our team to develop the next generation of mobile applications. The team will work closely with designers, project managers, and business partners to develop and maintain world-class Android mobile apps in conjunction with Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento, Woocommerce / WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe commerce, Bigcommerce development teams.
What you’ll do
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento, Woocommerce /
WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe commerce, Bigcommerce
- development teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixes and continuously improve application performance.
What you’ll need
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Proven work experience in software development within small teams.
- Substantial experience with fully-native Android development, including having published one or more apps in Google Play that use client-server interactions.
- Deep familiarity with Kotlin and Android Studio.
- Experience working with the Android SDK and SDK Tools, including compatibility libraries.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Experience working on Android app development projects with Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento, Woocommerce / WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe commerce, Bigcommerce development teams
